  • 1991-1994Post-graduate student, University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Dept. of Mineralogy, Cristallography and Economic Geology; Thesis title: Synthesis and crystal-chemical peculiarities of lead-antimony chlorine sulphosalts.
  • 1995 – Doctor’s degree in mineralogy and crystallography

FIELD OF INTEREST:

  • synthesis of new materials (lead-antimony chlorine sulphosalts, microporous and layered titanosilicates, zirconosilicates and alkaline silicates);
  • powder X-ray diffraction analysis and attendant software products (Rietveld refinement);
  • mineralogical diversity of Bulgaria.
