                  FTIR Tensor 37                                                       UV-VIS Carry 100

Equipment

 FTIR Spectrometer Tensor 37 Bruker is with possibilities to obtain spectra in MIR (400 – 4000 сm-1) and NIR (4000 - 15000 сm-1). The instrument is equipped with ATR (attenuated total reflection) accessory (ZnSe crystal) for analysis of thin films and crystal surfaces.  Infrared spectroscopy is widely used in both research and industry as a simple and reliable technique for measurement, quality control and dynamic measurement. Liquids, solutions, pastes, powders, films, fibers, gases and surfaces can all be examined with this instrument.

Spectra in NIR region are widely used in pharmacy, agrochemistry, environmental protection and food industry.

UV-VIS spectrophotometer Cary 100, Varian works in the spectral range of 190-900 nm (UV-VIS-NIR)

Samples:

  • Liquids;

  • Solids – synthetic and natural optic crystals, thin films

The follow properties can be investigated with the instrument:

  • optical transmittance of liquid and solid samples;

  • quantitative determination of transition metal ions and highly conjugated organic compounds;

  • determination of structural defects, traces of transition metals, oxidation state of metals.
